i hope that you put the oil filter back in with the spring and washer the right way around

the way it is in the picture you posted the oil filter will not be filtering anything

Wow thanks bud  :o  I put it back in how it came out.  Maybe it is backwards.  I got a fresh filter enroute and no plans to fire it up again til then.

I will pay close attention when I do.  Thanks again.

I looked again at the picture and YES it came out like that and I put it right back in like that.

When you have to finish the remodel in order to refinance within the next month so you can keep the house in the divorce.... well... ya know... ;)

i have serviced a motor that its installed wrong

That there makes me wonder if Honda had employees installing them wrong.  2300 miles could have easily been ridden in a single season.  And if this machine had been parked without filter change service...hmmm.  This machine also still has Yokahama speed line tires installed which I might assume ore original equipment w virtually no wear.

they had a 600 mile service sticker on the speedo at the bottom of the face

it was supposed to be peeled off as the service was done is yours there?
