Your fastest and on what

I keep pushing myself to finally "do the ton" but am a little limited. Slowly but surely I'm getting there. I took my wifes pretty stock '74 CB360 out for a spin last weekend and hit 82mph. I didn't think speed was going to be a big deal for me, I just really liked the 69 cb350 I got. Now I'm liking pushing my comfort level. Just need a longer straight stretch in Portland, Oregon. I'm wondering some of you guys' fastest and on what bike it was on.

the speedo on my CB550 says i hit 105, felt right.

140 on a Busa.

170 in a Datsun 280z.

All public roads, allegedly lol.

151 on an r6
I've done 135 in an f150.
140 in an 03 vette
And no lie I've 126 with my dad in a 89 peterbuilt in on an Arizona interstate

120 on an 85? Ninja back in 85 on the autobahn near Nuremberg Germany so it was legal.

90 Mph on my 63 BMW R69S. Going downhill. I felt like a kite. I was sure the wind was going to rip me off the bike at any moment. Something about going fast on a slow bike, but that was when I was young and stupid. Now i'm not young.

did 140 + - back in the 70's on the bike in my avatar.
including at the old riverside raceway in socal.
it's a 73 cb750 w/811 kit plus other mods including loosing 100 lbs.

redeye....db

I had my old KZ650 up to little over 100 mph, and my Gladius up to 205 km/hr. Both bikes were as solid as could be, just ran out of road.

Also, something about riding fast on a naked bike. Definitely different than doing the same on a bike with fairing or a windscreen.

135 MPH In my old 85 Corvette
155 MPH On my old 2000 CBR 600
100ish on my 78 CB750 SS
70 MPH in my 31 Ford (just fucking scary with the suicide front end) would start hopping side to side at about 50 MPH and smooth out at 60 lol

Quit looking at the speedo at 110 on a buddy's then new black Honda Hurricane CBR1000F when they first came out. According to http://www.motorera.com/honda/h1000/hurrican/hurrican.htm it was back in '87. First bike I ever rode that pulled harder the closer to redline you got. Actually hit another gear after that.
Then turned it around and brought it back. Remember thinking if I owned one, I'd kill myself... Have not been on a "New" bike since. ::)

154 on an RG500 Suzuki (No timing slip)

129.817 on my 500 Norton/Weslake.

125.715 on my 500 Weslake sidecar.

85 on my 02 Sportster
93 on the 750 before the teardown, had plenty of road and power, but wheel bearings were squealing like dying pigs. Pucker factor of 11.
142 in high school in a friends 72 Nova w/ a SB-400/Torqueflite combo.
128 (personal best) in my 95 Nissan 240sx (ran out of gearing, just couldn't push it any faster)

Edit: Forgot the snowmobile (Senior year HS in Idaho) 96mph, open straight-a-way Early 90's Polaris 440. Didn't hit the rev limiter, just ran out of road/ice.

103mph in my v6 mustang. :b rev limiter! URG. This was on a track.
26mph on my 2hp 1970s Puch Moped
32mph on my 1983 Yamaha BW80cc Bored to 89cc
85mph on my dads 600cc 2 stroke Yamaha snowmobile Don't know the year... or make...
but that felt more like 200mph and thats the most scared ive ever been!

Ill never forget the first time I rode the CBR the day I brought her home. Brand new 0 miles. Now keep in mind, my first bike and the bike my Dad taught me how to ride was a 1978 CM400, my second bike was a (forget the year) Suzuki DR650.

I remember pulling out of my subdivision on the CBR and all within what must of been 30 seconds, I glanced down at the road out of the corner of my eye, and thinking, DAMN the road seems to be going by very fast!! Then I look up and im running 75ish! IN 1ST FUCKING GEAR!!! I pulled over at the 1st gas station I came to, to catch my breath and rethink throttle and gear shift management lol the bike was so smooth from what I was used to it was hard to "sence" speed at first.
