Sydney ACE ride

Hey All,
Royal National park run, ( thru the Bald hill return )
was another excellent day
Crazy's new 150cc upgrade and regearing
really proving to be one of the best upgrades
for him to date,
clearly pulling away up the larger inclines.

Plenty of vehicles about with flashing lights this
trip, but all on the big straights ! ,so never it bothered us as
we had the most fun thru the narrow bends!
gotta love the ACE

There is talk of a full day ride in a month or
so if anyone wishes to join in,
keep your eye on this thread !
Cheers ACEitup

On Saturday 22nd February two Aces will be heading south through The Royal National Park to the Macquarie Pass, Robertson, Kangaroo Valley, Berry and back via the Princes and The Royal.

For anyone wanting to join in, the meet-up is at the Shell servo at Kirrawee to leave at 8am.

Lots of corners, lots of scenery, should be a top day!

Only ACEitup and I turned out for the ride yesterday!

The weather looked a trifle dubious so we decided to ride through The Royal and make a decision at Bald Hill.

The 'Aces' on arrival at Bald Hill:

The view south didn't look too encouraging:

We decided to push on anyway, and apart from a wet adventure while traversing the Sea Cliff Bridge, the day improved considerably.

Macquarie Pass was a great ride as we didn't meet a lot of traffic, and the run into Kangaroo Valley was equally as good.

On arrival at the Kangaroo Valley pub we were accosted be the usual group of people curious about the 'Aces', but we eventually escaped to have a relaxed lunch and beer in the sun at the beer garden.

After lunch we took a back road to Berry. Narrow road, no markings or advisories, even a short stretch of gravel; what more could you ask for?

Back up through the 'Gong, through The Royal, then back home.

It was a great day, the 'Aces' didn't miss a beat. Perhaps we will have some more company next time!

Hey Crazy,
Awesome ride yesterday!
even if i did stop to shop for dry clothes!
( mudguards are there for a reason!)
loved the tight curves up to Robertson and
charging thru the bends at Kangaroo valley
Being a average bloke, I'm not use to getting so much
attention as we did on these exceptional little bikes ! 8)
hit 3000 ks mark yesterday also
oil change, valve clearance, spark plug check
and washed the air filter out.
and gave her a tub.
all good to go again!
Up the pacific highway next ?

cheers ACEitup

Crazy

Hey Crazy,
What time you like meet at Deus? Camperdown
btw watchout for larger female ridrers dropping bikes! ???
Also got on to Wayne?
He cant make it thou.
cheers
ACEitup

Was thinking 8.30 at Deus.

That would make it about 9.30 at Berowra, 10.30 at Mt Penang, 11.30 at Pie-in-the-Sky.
Even with adding in time talking to the multitudes, we should be able to have a reasonably early lunch.
This would enable us to take an interesting detour on the way home, if we felt so inclined.

Crazy
