Ive been working on that project for a bit over a year now. Now Im almost there. Most of it is fine - -
-completely new electrics based on Motogadget
-new electronic tray welded
-cut and cleaned the frame, new loop
-fabricated a seat pan, upholstered as well
-new carbies, Mikuni VM32s
-painted the engine
-redid the tank, cleaned the inside and spay-can painted the outside
- etc...
So, Im really happy with the result so far and all I need now is a few tips from you guys. So here it comes:
-I dont have a constant fuel flow from the petcock to the mikunis. I fitted some fuel filters but the angle from the petcock to the carbies probably isnt steep enough. Since it's a gravity fed system, I need a solution. Maybe remove the filters and try with fuel lines only?
-Seat: Im from Bondi, does anybody know a good upholstery guy in Sydney?
-Since it's an imported bike from the states, I need to get a blueslip first. Any idea where to do it so I dont hit and miss? Afraid it would break me ;-)
