^^73 CL350 FORK TUBE HELP^^
« on: Apr 25, 2017, 12:52:02 »
I have a 1973 CL350 that had of course, a cracked top triple clamp. So I bought a new stem and clamp for a 71 model. The 73 forks don't fit in the clamp like the 71 did. Or do they? Can they? Do I need new tubes? Or new forks all together? I'm really trying to not buy a $200 billet top clamp. Please help. I will add pics asap.

Sounds like you got an early model top clamp wear the forks slide into but not through.
You should be able to locate a top clamp from a later CL/CB 350/360.
