De tabbing/trimming frame question

Hey guys, building my first cafe and im now de tabbing and trimming my frame down. I want to get rid of these rear sections hanging off, they are originally to hold the exhaust and a stop for the center stand but they are no longer needed. Problem is one of the sides has one of the two threaded holes that hold on my footpeg, I could cut it right after the threaded hole but that wouldnt look very good and im not sure how strong it would be either. Im guessing I may have to go with a different way of mounting the peg up but im not sure how, any ideas?

Follow the tube that comes from above behind the swingarm gusset so it will flow.
