I just want the rims.

Edit: Actually, there a quite a few parts I could use.

It's been on a month, I'm guessing he takes 5 for it, if it just needs time a battery and a can of B-12 it may be worth it. the GL eems to be gaining interest here

There are people that are making a lot of money taking vintage Japanese bikes and part overseas.

Kids love to take shit apart, Kids know computers like mini geniuses.

I just need to hire two or three and combine the talent to take bikes apart and categorize the parts into an eBay store. I of course make them subcontractors and only pay invoiced amounts that I agree to, then write off the service ;)

Yep that'd work just fine. I certainly dabble in used parts sales on ebay but the part I can't stand is the listing and the shipping. It can get to be a major bummer.

It also helps to have a straight up buyer that goes back and forth to europe. Sell a couple complete, original bikes on ebay and sometimes they will approach you.

I know a guy that bought out an old suzuki dealership and in the process discovered a couple barn fulls of near-mint 70's Zuk's. Everything from mini bikes to GS's with as low as 5 miles on the clock. He found a buyer in the U.K. while trying to sell a ts185 on EBAY. The guy I know (won't call him a friend) is the only person with access to these bikes, and every few months he drags a couple more out of there and sells them for top dollar directly to his buyer. All it takes is a hand to load them up.

Now that I'm back in Nebraska I plan to start hitting up the farm auctions and old small town dealerships next year, see what I can find out here.

Jeff from Star City will go or send someone to any sale with a bike to overbid. Try negotiating at the presale.

Have a cousin that owns a motorcycle scrap in Florida, and goes all over buying dealers out, he does over $10K a month on eBay. Definitely money to be made.

Correction is appreciated. Just surprised that was the only comment. Nothing said about the bike.
