CB360 project

New to forum. Figured I'd start a project thread. I've had a CL360 and a Cb360 since I was 14. Im 24 now. I'm using one frame and building it from the ground up to make one bike. I work as a welder and I have access to every tool I need to do what I need to complete this bike. (Cnc plasma table, cnc lathes, cnc mill, 160 ton cnc pressbrake, 10 foot shear, etc.)

My plans are to dump as much money as I can into this bike.

Ill post what I've done so far. (Blurry photos, cameras broke)

Get it up on its feet and check the rear tire clearance to the frame/tail light.

Good point. I'll take some measurements on the bike I still have put together. I moved the tail of the frame up about 5 degrees when I welder it together, so hopefully that'll help.

Had some time after work today. Built an electrical tray for under the seat. Got the monoshock but it ended up being way too stiff. Anyone know of any shocks that'll work for this bike? Around 11" eye to eye center lengths?

Not much of an update. Got a different shock that seems to work a lot better. Fixed taillight bracket, and got the speedo loosely mounted.

I used the same pistons in mine, with the exception of mine being only 67.5 mm. I think a couple of people on here say the wiseco pistons are to heavy.

69 or 70mm gs pistons are cheap and work very well !

weisco pistons are heavier than the ART GS pistons. but unless you're revving above 9k, it's not an important factor. at least on my build my goal was 11.5K and so the lighter GS850 pistons and other bits was a must

So I'm still waiting on pistons to bore the cylinders. I figured I'd tear down the motor and do some cleaning while I wait. I also painted the upper half of the lower case. And wire wheeled the rest. Outer cases/covers will be polished.

Also I found out the center cam bearing was toast on the cylinder head. So I'll be using the head and valve cover off my CL360. They look brand new on the bearings. I'm also thinking about oil mods for this thing
