Hi all, I picked up a CM400t $300 in decent shape, running, 9600 on the clock and it had a title. Good to go.

Gone back and forth deciding what direction to go with it but I think now I'm going to get some Shinko 705s and create a scrambler type.

Plan: Complete(Except for the engine which ran and doesn't leak anything) tear down, paint, rewire, different tank, wire wheels. Rearsets(ordered), some carbon fiber, new subframe, new controls, headlight bucket melted so that is getting replaced, seat.

Wish me luck!

Sooo reworking the subframe and I need to get the spring off the stock shock. This wasn't too sketchy actually. Slide the bumpstop down to expose the nut, and it comes apart. Now I can set the swingarm at full compression and make sure my new tubes don't interfere.

I don't think I'll keep the pie cuts frame, looks hokey to me. Going to give it a bend instead.

MikesXS wheels and 4into1 spokes just got here...

I'm building a scrambler/ dualsport type of bike out of an SR250... I'll be watching to see where you go with this.

Keep the posts and pictures coming!
