Lectron carbs

Been Around the Block
Anybody have experience with these carbs? I know of only one person that uses them and he swears by them. Bloody expensive though.

My brother runs them on his GS1100 dragbike and if I remember right they are that great on the low end,more of an all out top end carb.

Flat slide carbs are supose to give a stronger signal at the needle jet.

Maybe you will want to try a different style of flatside carb?
 
I ran a pair on an RD350. Still have them. I found them much better for drag racing also, though mine are 30mm, and too small for that on a 350. I replaced them with 34mm Mikunis easier to tune. I hear parts (jets, needles) are no problem to get, but not so easy as Mikuni (or Keihin) and since I have parts for those laying around my shop, my opinion is likely influenced. I never got them to run as good on the street as Mikunis, but good power opened up.
