Looks like it is a XR650 to me as well. Early 2000s

Could also be XL600? RFVC head is a dead giveaway

To what? Lol.

There are RFVC 250s, 500s, 600s, 650s. I have no idea which of these the above bike is. XR500 came to my mind first because I have built a few.

Well, it's not a later xr650 for sure. It's not a kickstart and it's not liquid cooled. Or did you get other versions of the xr650 than Europe? Only seen XL650 without kickstart but those are rare.

Looks like the kickstart hole is plugged.

Pretty sure there isn't an RFVC XL. I'd say XR600 because of the square tube at the wishbone in the frame that Honda went to in '85. The 500's ended in '84. I'd guess '85 - '88, but just a guess.
