HONDA CB350 ROAD RACE FIBERGLASS CONVERSION KIT

Coast to Coast
Hi everyone.
This post is similar to the one on the VRRA site, mainly for the racer crowd but would work well on a cafe project, too.
We’ve had a number of inquiries from individuals who want to go vintage racing with a CB350 Honda, so we’ve decided to help them out – and save them a few dollars as well – by offering a fiberglass conversion kit consisting of a front fender, a Manx nose bowl, 2 number plate ovals and a seat. There are 4 seat choices – Ducati 750S flat bottom, CB 350 roundtail (the one in the photos), CB350 squaretail and extended Suzuki GP250. We chose those seats for the kits as all have been used on CB350’s - you pick the style you prefer and they’re all long enough to work with a stock tank.
The customer is responsible for drilling the holes, making brackets, painting and mounting the components. Minor trimming of the seat may be required, depending on how you mount it, whether you keep the stock rear fender, have moved the battery box, stuff like that.
The list price of the parts separately is $325.00 Canadian plus HST; we are offering a 15% discount on the kits, so the price will be $276.25 plus tax, shipping and handling as applicable (email with your postal code for a quote).
We’re working on a CB350 fiberglass short rear underfender to stop rear wheel crud from hitting the carbs and back of the motor. It should be available in a couple of months and we’ll include them in future kits at a 15% price reduction as well.
We would also consider some substitutions (with the appropriate cost adjustments) – like if you’ve changed to different forks on your bike and our ‘glass CB350 fender won’t fit, but not if you want a late model TZ Yamaha or RS125 Honda seat (neither are period-legal).
The idea is to provide the first time racer / builder with an easily-installed kit that will get the job done quickly and easily.
Obviously, the parts can be used on other bikes and indeed the first kit we assembled (see the photos), is going on a CB175 sloper Honda. We'll consider similar kits for other makes and models as well, if there is sufficient interest.
Payment: 100% prepayment, etransfer preferred, cash if you can get it to us, Canada Post Moneyorder, paypal okay, no credit cards unless you use it through paypal, no cheques whatsoever.
Lead time: we're running about 3 weeks lead time right now and we have the Xmas Season looming, so plan accordingly.
