Ct70 build

Cool, I may make a set of custom ones but if you are willing to part with them I may buy em off you.

I'd most likely be willing to let them go. I also have a set of Lesters as well for a GL. I'm most likely going to use the spoked setup including forks on the 550 I have shoved in a corner in boxes this coming summer.

That may be he worst pic ever but that's the forks hiding off in the background haha

Cool, I just realized though I am putting an 1100 front end on and they are 34mm vs 31mm so not sure the ears would fit.

It's part of the family haha. Really I didn't want to heat the shop so I brought it to the house while I sort the wiring out.

So far these are the extra bits.

Wiring for these little motors is pretty simple. If you get stuck check out tbolt usa as they have a ton of wiring diagrams that should you figure out the wiring if you get stuck.

Here's a quick crappy tack splattered weld of the brackets. They will need some cleaning up on them before I lay powder.

I also decided I didn't like the color of the wheel hoops so I threw some clear powder on them. Still not sure. I have a spare set of hoops I'm going to lay satin black then clear over to determine what I like best. I suspect the black will win.

Left is cleared right is not

I had issues with the powder rejecting due to a poor ground (my fault) today after I fought to get the tires off. Due to being frustrated about prepping twice I called it a night. I'll do the black set next before I waste any more time on these.

Finished up the headlight ears. Mothgils took them to his shop and finished welding them for me (I have no gas). I laid powder and bolted them back together. I'm really dragging my feet with this bike. I'll get there.

Tifun you're still making good progress. I also need a new seat and just don't feel like spending the money on it but it probably would get the ball rolling again.
I like the black and white too. Honda should have offered this opposite of the late 70's black one.

My seat pan has a crack in the center. It's a total bummer. I'd like to use the original tin. That is, until I realized a quality repop was just over $100 lol. I actually switch from black to white for that very reason. I thought and inverted version would look really cool.

Well. The bike is on hold again. I've went off and did something stupid.

What year is that 125?
96. Has a 144 Athena kit and race tech golds among a lot of other fun things. Making it a trail bike.

96-98 probably were the best 125's of that time. The 144 kit should give it more grunt. I'm 5-11 and always felt crammed on the YZ. But hey at least you have one. I can't say that anymore. Lol

It's been a while since I last posted. I've been really really slacking. Funds are being absorbed into home renovation work. But. There is an update. Powdered a spare set of hoops black and laid some clear over them. Looks much better in my opinion. Outside of that. Uhhhhhhhhhh that's pretty much it. It sits in the living room. I walk by it a lot. Looks nice sitting there.
