Is that the best you got? OK.. now my TURN...
You guys all know the bike!!..
This is an all out XS650 Café racer that was insured and on the road last season
This café racer is NOT a trailer queen, its rough and tough and has a very aggressive riding position.
This is NOT a bike for a new rider.
The bike runs perfectly and fires up every time on the first kick. (2 kicks to prime the line with key off, then 1 kick with key on)
The bike originally had some charging issues but the new single-state regulator/rectifier from Mikes XS took care of that
There are no dents or dings on the gorgeous alloy tank, which is nicely oxidized to give it that rough look.
71 Frame with a newer 75 Motor
- New Boyer electronic ignition
- New Chrome headlight bucket
- New rebuilt clutch with Needle bearings and Thrust washer
- New Single-State Regulator/Rectifier
- New Alloy-Aluminum tank (with internal baffles)
- New Manx short back café racer seat
- Custom seat bracket
- New LED Volt Gauge
- Telefix adjustable clip-ons bars
- New Gran-Tourismo grips
- New cables
- NOS Redwing Reverse Hammer Shocks
- Norton Pea-Shooter mufflers (not shown in pics)
The build thread documenting its conversion from stock to a café racer is located here on DoTheTon:

Being a 1971 model, this XS650 did not come with turn signals from the factory so it is not needed for safety.
This bike will come certified with all the necessary paperwork.
This Café Racer is turn key and ready to go, and ready to ride anywhere.
This bike is not for dreamers.
Price is firm.
