Looking to dress up the 440 a little bit. Trying to decide on some wire sleeving.
Bike's getting a polished metal tank, black chrome frame, black seat with red-stitch diamond quilted top, chrome headlight and signals, yellow-lettered Avons.

Well, after giving it all due consideration, I went with the ones on the right.
There were no thunderclaps, so I assume the Gods were pleased.
 
Looks nice. What do you do about the ends after you have them on the wire? Just use a bit of shrink wrap?
 
Yup, heat shrink. Pulled it from Ebay, 4, 6, 8 & 10mm. Figure I might do the cables too, if I like the look.
 
Went a bit lower key to dip my toe in the water, where did you find yours? I struggled to source mine locally. (Australia)

I've been scratching around trying to find just the right stuff for custom looms as well. Just picked up some stuff here:

I got some of the flexo pet stuff but it's a bit to "plasticky" for my tastes. Good service from the site though, I talked to one of the folks on the phone and they straightened out an issue very quickly.

It might sound odd but for some of the smaller strand wires I have had luck using hollowed out 550 cord. It's durable and you can get it in just about every color known to man. Plus it's about $.11/ft.
 
If anyone's still looking, I got the sleeving in just before the weekend and it's freakin' gorgeous!

I kid you not. The gold and silver threads are actually metallic. Looks way sharper than I thought from the pics in the listing. I love it when stuff is cooler than I was expecting!
