The Travelling Gremlen Bell! In Kentucky getting Rusty.

Forgot to post! I handed the bell off to Mr. E a couple of weeks ago. He lives close, he's headed to Barber soon and I figured he would add some dirt miles to the bell between now and then. I added a couple of pictures to the log that travels with the bell.

Re: The Travelling Gremlen Bell! In ohio getting frosty.

Mr.E handed the bell off to me at the first annual #dothetonhitsthedirt meetup in rocky face Georgia, where we rode through some crazy mtn terrain on a few sketchy bikes. Ill try to get some ohio winter road salt on the bell this season, and then hopefully it will be attached to ridesolos cb378 this spring for its maiden voyage.

Awesome to see some mud and dirt on the bell....and the original electric solid conductor wire holding it onto the bike.

I was given specific instruction to not lose the wire either, as its been holding the bell on since the beginning

No wonder why you didn't wreck on those trails. You had the bell.
Oh I wrecked it, but I didn't have the bell yet. To think, this all could have been avoided had Ephraim handed it off a bit sooner.

I still have the bell, irk is going to grab it at mid Ohio (since I forgot to give it to him at thaw)

Yay. I also forgot to take it.

The Traveling Gremlin Bell! On a Hellride in Georgia.

The bell has made it's way to Augusta, GA via Mid-Ohio and a Dakine duffel bag. It even managed to will an empty 6 pack of Corona bottles on the side of I-75 in the mountains of Kentucky when Mr E and I ran out of gas on the way south. We used them to transfer fuel from our bike tanks to his truck...

I'll put these on the flash drive too, but here are a few from the rides on the dr650. Its been to chickamauga Georgia, Chattanooga Tennessee, Birmingham Alabama, North Carolina, rode part of the transatlantic trail and part of the blue ridge parkway and been to the dayton air force museum. I'm guessing about 1500-2000 miles all told.

I just read through this again, and realized that it originated in Chattanooga. This bell has been on my bike IN CHATTANOOGA at least 3 times, and on Mr.E's once. Wish I'd have been able to get ahold of the p.o. and show him that it's still making its rounds
