I know the feeling I been waiting on a new set of coils and wires for 3 weeks now and they were sitting on my desk when I got home this afternoon. That means for the first time in over 2 months I can fire the bitch up this weekend if I so feel. ;D There's a lot of work to go before that but I can get there prolly Sunday. 8)
17" reverse cone megaphones x2.
I just started listing parts I don't want and it got up to 35 listings! Hopefully get a few bucks back towards new parts.
Has anyone tapped the lower triple for a steering stabilizer? If so where did you clamp the other end?
I got my headlight ears today, the smallest I could find was 35mm (great Ebay seller from Toronto). What I did was cut a section of bicycle inner tube to use as a shim/rubber mount. They go on nice and tight, I will just trim the excess once I have the position dialed. The tubes worked well because they are tubular and I could stretch them on tight.
I took a picture although my progress has slowed, waiting for rearsets, gaskets, seat, lights, pistons, rings, caliper etc.
I got a nice set of polished stainless steel bolts today from http://www.alloyboltz.com/catalog/index.php
It's very nice and all cataloged/organized, super impressed.
Here is my seat from HondaClassic31.com
It took 3.5 weeks to come from Vietnam, build quality is very nice. I got the complete seat with reproduction seat pan. It's not attached yet, just sitting there.
I wrapped the header pipe with DEi black fiberglass header wrap. Looks pretty nice but I still need to put the top coat on once it's dry.
