Help with rear signals!

Im not using led. They are all hooked up. If they werent grounded properly would they turn on at all? Not exactly sure what type of flasher it is, i know its a 12v and thats it.

Have a look at the flasher relay - it should have markings on it like 12v, 4 x 21W if it is a stock relay. That means it needs 4 x 21 watt bulbs to have enough load to function. If you are using 10w bulbs it probably wont trigger it.

Its not the stock flasher. I have power at both terminals.

I got my signals to work! Turns out the po put in the wrong bulbs and the flasher was toast. Now i got a new problem. The yellow wire from the regulator gets really warm when the bike is on. What could that be?

That's not good.

Yellow wire is supposed to be AC power from the alternator. It shouldn't see any voltage unless the engine is running because of the rectifier diodes.

Something is either connected incorrectly or there is a fault with the regulator, rectifier, or both.

The unit we sell is combined, so it replaces both the old regulator and the old rectifier.
