CB450 520 front sprocket

Been Around the Block
I've been trying to source a 15 or 16T front sprocket for my CB450. It is an unusual size in that the spline minor diameter is 21mm, whereas all the other Honda sprockets are 22mm. There are a number of dealers that sell 520 kits but I tried contacting them all and no-one got back to me, so I did some hunting and it turns out that a Honda NSR250R has the exact same spline. These bikes were not available in the US, as far as I know, but I found one on UK ebay that was $26.31 ($18.68USD) including free delivery. It is a good sprocket for the application because it is 11mm wide, so it has great teeth contact and the standard keeper plate fits. A Kawasaki KDX200 also has the same spline configuration but is around 6.5mm wide, so the Honda one is far better.

Did you contact Sprocket Specialists to get your sprocket? I've had really good luck with them. Also, Honda XL175 and I believe CB200 are 20 or 21mm. I can't remember which.

Thanks Irk. I couldn't get an answer from them either, perhaps because I'm in Australia. The XL175/CB200 are small spline sprockets, unfortunately, which are 20x18x5.
