Wiring Harness/Handlebar

Greetings all,
I am putting on the clubman bar on my CB550f but am having trouble removing the lightswitch harness which is run through the inside of the old handle bar. Is there any secret or tips out there in removing it. It seems like somewhere inside the harness is 'glued' or something because it will not budge. I have pulled on it only stretching the harness covering to the point of tearing it and am afraid of doing the same to the different wires themselves.

Or is the only option to buy a new one? If so, will the wires be color coded the same? Thanks again.

You just need to slowly work it out. Spray a bunch of WD40 into the bars. That helps a bit. Its a giant pain in the ass no matter how you go about it. Just keep at it.
