1975 RD 250 tracker build

Problem solved! I think.

I put the carbs back on and gave it one kick with no gas tank attached. It fired right up and purred like a kitten. Going to put the tank, seat, oil tank, etc back on tomorrow and then run it a bit longer to make sure it is charging properly and then it's time for another test ride.

Pretty sure this will solve my problems. But I've been surprised after saying that before.

The MZB is a nice system. A little pricey for what you get and it is not exactly plug and play but it was a fairly simple install.

Considering I've paid $600 in the past for a light weight Jetski flywheel(3.8 lbs stock to 2.0 aluminum wheel) I really can't complain. Especially since that wheel cracked the hub and is hanging on my wall now.

I took a look at the crank seal before I put the new stator on and it looked mint. I'm Not tearing the bottom end apart anytime soon. I may go over the top end this winter though especially since the compression is 110/115.
