Beachcomber needs some cheapo car bits !

Some of you know I was forced to sell some of my projects last year when the spectre of ill health raised it's ugly head - which included my 1955 Vanguard Estate hot rod .........

Well - regretted that decision, especially after the good prognosis a few months ago.

Anyroadup - I've decided to play with a Volvo 940 estate I picked up for pennies.

Here's where I need help.

I will be fitting a Rover 3.5 V8 ( nee Buick 215ci ). I'm using an Eaton M112 ( ex. Jag V8 ).

So ........ I need all you car guys to shake up your hi-po stash. I need an MSD crank trigger assembly (any V8), M.S.D. 6AL, and any other Rover goodies.

I realise that Rover specific parts won't be plentiful - but you never know.

I built his dads museum.

My father has a collection of those Buick 215's. I think he has four or five of them. Nothing modern though so no help on the crank trigger.

That said, we always used Petronix units on our Kent Formula Fords and after some googling I found one for the Buick. It's a good bit cheaper than the MSD unit.
