I just got a set of 712's shipped from motorcyclesuperstore for less than a hundred bucks.

Bikebandit.com is also a good place. Tons of shops out there that will bring up a list of available tires and you can pick and choose who's the cheapest.

Depends on what you are looking for. I bought a Dunlop K70 front tire from Bike Bandit that was on sale, but the rear tire I wanted wasn't available through them. I bought the Duro HF308 (discontinued Pirelli MT53 replica tread) on ebay.

I shop the heck out of tires so I know the cost, then I give my favorite shop an opportunity to match or come close to the price, to give them my business. Quite often they match or even do better, no shipping. If they can't do it, I buy where I get the deal on-line.
