Master cylinder at an angle?

i just got a new M/C that sits on the bars at about a 30 degree angle (bars tilt down) with reservoir opening up so that if the fluid level was low it would pump air into the hose. would this work if i bled the brakes while it was level, filled to the highest level then mounted back on the angle? or is it just not going to work and either change out the bars or get a M/C with a offset?

thanks

Lots of people run em like that but you are inviting air into the line. The best thing to do is find(ebay) an old sportbike MC with a remote reservoir that can be mounted level. Your current setup would probably work fine but it comes down to how much of a risk you want to take.

thanks.. didn't even think about the angles when i bought this one. i might run it for now and look into the remote M/C.. any tips on which bikes to look at for these?

Quite a lot of sportsbikes from the early 90's had angled M/C's with in-built reserviors to suit angled clip-ons. FZR600/1000, CBR600, GSXR750 to name a few.
