  • I do sidecovers in the toaster oven too but the cases if or whole motor is not being taken apart then yes you follow the instructions on the can and do some heat and cool cycles to cure the paint, being careful not to get gas on it before it is cured
  • Mar 29, 2017, 16:39:40
  • tdub:
  • just run it briefly multiple times?

  • hmmm good idea. how do you recommend i bake the engine?
  • Mar 29, 2017, 16:37:00
  • Maritime:
  • Carbs should fit in a toaster oven and you can bake them outside in one of those
  • Mar 29, 2017, 16:22:49
  • Maritime:
  • If you can bake it after painting yes it should be ok
  • Mar 29, 2017, 16:22:21
  • tdub:
  • hmmm good point although high temp paint that you can use on the engine should suffice, no?
  • Mar 29, 2017, 16:08:47

  • besdies, just removing the one carb that's necessary to get the springs off shoudl be easy enough, i've done it before
  • Mar 29, 2017, 15:48:43
  • tdub:
  • a thin coat of paint should be fine even on the springs.
  • Mar 29, 2017, 15:47:44
  • Kamn:
