75 CL360 Cafe Build

More cleaning before polishing. I use an abrasive wheel 150 grit to clean first, and light 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper, then a firm buffing pad on an angle grinder with hard metal polish.

Got the Engine back from getting Bead blasted, and it looks way better than my last bike's sand blasted.
Also had a few hours today to spend painting some parts.

Rear sets. The brake was a bit tricky to figure out, but it works perfectly.

Nice work. I ran a cable on mine, which I've found to work pretty well but may have been a bit of extra work involved.

You may find your rear brake will perform better if the cams are parallel to each other:

Almost done with fine tuning. Completely redid the harness. New cables for everything. Got my carbs back from CrazyPJ. had one of the brand new seals leak, (the main shaft oil seal for the clutch rod) so replaced that. Made the battery bracket for under the seat, and sorted all the wires out.

Yeah, these sets are a bit limiting on giving you flexibility for positions. Its all in 90 degree increments.

New heavy duty clutch springs are a bit longer than stock. Oiling mods for the oil filter exit passage. Holes in the clutch basket to help keep it cool.
And had to replace my brand new Pirelli demon because it was cracking on the sides.

cool stuff. Dig that color scheme

one word of advice on those old school speed rearsets (I had them before I went back to stock) get some rod ends from QS components and replace those crapy 90* ends. they will kill you at worst and make adjustments and pedal feel terrible at best.

Thanks for the tip. Absolutely will do.

Thank you.
I had "Summer" in mind for the colors. I think that's her name now.
