Still on the look out for a CB750 to start my brat project but they seem to rarely come up where I live.
There's a 79 F model for sale not too far from me, ideally I want a K model but will potentially go for this one of it fits the bill.
Firstly how much modification would it take for a K tank to fit an F frame?
Secondly, I'm planning on keeping the passenger footpegs and the F model has a bolt on aluminium piece which the pegs bolt on to whilst the K model has a neater bracket welded on (see below pics). Any potential pitfalls in just welding a new bracket onto an F model rather than using the bolt on alu piece?
