Theres a guy on craigslist parting out is 82 gl1100. He has front forks and trees for sell. I know the steering bearings are the same but im not sure about the rake, trail and fork length. I want larger forks for the looks but could they also posses better handling characteristics? Has anyone done the swap before? Any suggestions?
