I just read in a Magazine I got at the Supershow in Toronto that Eric Buell will continue with the racing efforts, thus supplying parts etc for those racing Buells.
I'll have to have a look again for more info...

From the International Motor Cycle magazine:

Erik Buell has left H-D, and Erik Buell Racing has come into being.
The company will supply race-only Buell parts, tuning, preparation services, and technical advice, plus building and selling Buell 1125R-based race bikes under licence from Harley-Davidson.
As was the Buell Motorcycle company, the new firm is based in East Troy, Wisconsin.
