Hi all,

The plan is to take a kinda rusty well used 1995 Yamaha TW200 and make a 'new' Tracker out of it. I'll update here with pictures once in a while when things moves ;)

That's how it all started:

I decided using a fuel tank from a 125CC Honda, looks just perfect for what I plan for it :)

I'm all into a clean-no wires look... so the next challenge will be to hide all the wiring under a custom seat

The TaW continues :)

Stripped it to the frame, welded seat brackets, as well as a tray for all the electric components, so that it will look flawless without any wires anywhere.

Next step is fabricating the seat frame and then blasting the frame and paint.

I rode a TW200 for my motorcycle skills test and loved it - so stable with those big fat tires. I'm in for this one.

darn you.... now you got me wanting a tw200 again.... ahhh

Nice start on a worthy build.

Dang, you keep your shop that clean all the time? :-[

Can't wait to see the finished bike.

I have a TDub and of all my bikes I ride it almost everyday, it's my gopher bike.
Also my special events bike. Mad Max ride, January 1st ride, etc, etc.

I was hoping you'd install a pr. of narrower rims for street use and lighter tires for more performance :( but I see that tractor rear rim now.. I guess that's just what i'd like to do if i had a TW. :D
I hope you do at least put some smoother tread street tires on it... all that heavy rolling weight ::) :) either way I hope you get back to enjoying it. ;)

Hi,

Been a while since I updated... Every once in a while when I have few minutes.. or more (which doesn't happen too often lately lol) I work on the TW200 :)

Wheels are on, handlebar and few more parts installed. Just completed the rear fender along with the license plate bracket.

Waiting for engine parts so I can complete the full rebuild of it.
