No Purple Hearts, No Blue Ribbons
Picked this up yesterday from Mr. Von Yinzer.

Honda VT500 Ascot. Not 100% on what direction it will take me, but here it is:

The chickens approve.

I'm in.

The ascot can be awesome with a slightly redesigned subframe using something like a 70's KZ seat deck and sport cut seat to keep the CG low(r) A chub tail like to Yamaha or the old Honda SS chubby and whala you have a veeSuperbike

Definitely will be watching this one as they do come up on the local Craigslist and some of them a priced right.

Have also been curious why two different bikes have shared the same name. One being the Vtwin water cooled and the other being in-line 5 speed instead of 6.

Both are inspired by flat track bikes, so both got named after the Ascot dirt track in California.

Apparently there is a Honda Ascot car as well, just in case you wanted to go for the Trifecta.

Ya know... I have to reluctantly admit I never put the track and bike together. an "ascot" is a scarf tie also haha!
