That 90 is 1 of 2 maybe 3. The “chrome bike” special made by Honda for dealers that sold lots of units. California black plate bike. There are definitely some gems.

That Green CL72 (or 77 without the muffler) might be factory"custom". If my memory is correct there where limited factory editions from Honda. Not sure what years this was done

Oh my GAWD man, magic still exists! Please tell me there's a box of CB750P7-ii front hubs sitting on a shelf???

The CT200 is GORGEOUS, as a guy who rode the '82 C70 Passport for many many years day in day out, kept it in the stable alongside my '82 CB750F & flipped a coin on which one to ride for that proverbial carton of milk (((which alas, I always wound up bringing home - until the LAST time that is.....))) But yeah, as a C70 Passport buff, I'm LOVING this lil' special. Very classy. Gotta wonder whether the chrome would've prevented UNDERBODY RUST CROTCH-ROT on this frame? Should've done 'em in ALUMINUM. Not great for the planned obsolescence thing, but that's how I'D wanna build it! Well either which way, it's DELICIOUS even in chrome rather than polished alloy.

But it's that early ... I'm gonna say CA160??? With the 16" wheels, for all appearances - correct me if I'm wrong? Even in it's dilapidated state, THAT lil'
beast is YUMMMY.....

-Sigh.

CA71 or 76 I think. Not sure which were imported if either, but top end is 72/77 looking , so it's probably not a CA160.

Nope. I believe that is a 1959 CE71. One year only bike, dry sump, 8” magnesium brakes, it has 18” wheels. One of 259 built, 1 of 15 in existence and 1 of 2 in his collection. And it is yummy... This came from Holland. His other one he bought 23 years ago. It was an early restoration. Serial number lower than #10. He asked me the other day if I might be interested in opening a box. Well that box had been closed for 23 years. He wanted to save it for opening when he felt down or sad he said. But he said he might not have ever opened the crate if he waited for the exact right moment. He beat cancer and buried his brother, and I think like we all do, is starting to realize his own mortality. He’s 73 but you wouldn’t know it. More like 63. I was honored to be able to get to see that bike. I didn’t take pics that day but I will, I was too busy learning from him about the subtle differences about these early early bikes. He is a walking Honda guru with real life examples.
