After seeing the Holiday Customs GN400, i got excited to build a little thumper myself.
I liked the style of it and got myself an old Suzuki.

The fueltank was really a mess.
Found another one that is in a really decent shape.

Although the chrome on the rims were really nice they had to get black.
Turned out great I think.
Fitted a Firestone ANS 5.00-16 at the rear and a Dunlop K70 4.00-18 at the front.

Should be a cool little bike for around town. You may find that the paint on the spokes/rims cracks etc. They're not designed to be painted like that of course, as spokes require re-torquing from time to time.

Did some pre-assembling to look how it turns out.
Not bad!

Thumper's coming along quite well, I'll follow along.

Heck of a shop you have there too, must be nice!

I always wonder how people get tired on painted rims without messing up the paint. Care to share? Or are they chipped up but I just can't tell?

Nice job so far. Such a nice looking engine and frame. Why weren't these sold more widely?! Never saw one in Australia or here in Sweden. Bit of a shame cos it looks like a sweet alternative to the SR that been done to death...
