Tip of the week !!!!
On my timing cover and on top of the gearbox there are some Ali badges but over the years thay have been polished off so i got new ones, This is the trick to getting the rivets out.
first prise the badge off leaving the rivets proud

Then with a pair of pliers turn them anticlockwise
P1020061_zpsefd31008.jpg

to fit new ones use a drift to gently tape them home

My mate Martin also came round and sorted out the indicators, "cheers mate"
pick up the front wheel tomorrow so me and Hils may get half a day in the garage!!!

Next week first go at starting it up !!!!!

Looking awesome Jeff! I like the gear position indicator.

So is this one a right foot gear change, left foot brake setup?

Ya ,Gear changing on the right foot will be an intresting learning curve, dont use rear brake much ;D

Errr yeah... just watch the panic brake!

It's hard enough alternating between my wife's Festiva and Peugeot... indicator/windscreen wiper stalk are on opposite sides...

Well friday;s here i had to get the front wheel sorted tyre on ect but had to pick it up at 12pm !!! drag.
in the mean time did some finel checks ,timing, nut, bolts oil and stuff, after lunch fitted the exhurst and mufflers, fitted the tank hooked up the gas lines and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they leaked ! so up the auto shop get new ones (i was gonna anyway)
come back fit them.
Now with heart pounding with excitement and some fear
fuel on.
primed.
key on.
second kick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya man this ride sounds sweet !!!!!!!
i have good oil return with on leaks (as yet!) just a slight weep from the carb bowl gasket.
Hil;s is over the moon and well pleased
