started assembling the top end, had to grind some slots in the cam sprocket so I could degree the cam properly, couldn't find a timing sheet with it in the box and it's a cx-7, which cyclex says is like the megacycle whatever, but has 3 degrees more duration, so I googled and found what I thought to be the best bet, I'll call them monday to confirm, seems weird not to send a timing sheet with a cam

have to pocket the pistons for the high lift cam, so since the valves aren't on center, I cut up an old valve and made a transfer punch with it, that way I can put the reliefs in exactly where they need to be and not take off any extra material

shaving a little bit at a time and rechecking in the motor, takes forever to do but I'd rather leave as much meat as possible on the piston than go too far and have too much clearance. left the inner spring off the assembly for checking clearance because that way you can move the rocker with a little "spanner" and feel where it hits the piston, gives better info than clay
