you need way more filter area though that smal square opening is not enuf for performance

yes i do you have plenty of room to clamp on a really huge uni foam or k&n
and if that rearmost panel was expanded to funnel back to a large 4" or so inlet unit you would really have some free breathing
or something like this 8)

actually if you just opened up the rearward panel,radius the corners and used that flat foam to wrap over and down double-triple what you now have available
