I never did get around to taking some nice pictures of the old xs.
and now I put it away for winter, so I dont see it happening any time soon ether.

I have a new project in mind for this winter

Really nice work!

I totally want to do an xs650 but hardly see the wire wheel versions for sale and they get snacked up pretty quick where Im from.

You may want to keep an eye on ignition coils, the reason there is so much space under front of tank is to direct airflow and cool them

Erskine. Thanks :)

HollywoodMX. there pretty rare here as well. I called as soon as this one popped up, and according to the seller there had been lots of people interested.
saw a few other XSes go really fast while looking for a project bike.

crazypj. Ill check that out. didnet have any problems this summer, but Ill keep an eye on it

I think ambient temperature has a lot to do with the possibility of coils overheating
Judging by scenery, your in a nice place for summer riding without it getting 100+?

It rarely gets that hot here, but Ill try to take it for a ride when next season starts and feel if the coils gets hot.

on an other note, Im planing on some minor changes during the winter. but the other bike is first on the list. I have some other projects that I have to finish before i can get to it however.

Did you do any modifications to exhaust? It sounded real good in 'today's' vid

Its the same. But I used a gopro 3. The other videos are from an iphone.
Actually it sounds even better in real life

its been 4 years almost exactly so its time for a rebuild and redesign.
