Mr.E
Got to keep the loonies on the path...
Re: Mr. E's caffeinating of a CB750 (The Black and Tan) Seat is back and looks good
So after sitting out the coldest days of the winter closer to a heat source than my bike, we finally got back to finishing up the last few things before a test flight. Some people have been telling me horror stories about starting an engine that's been dormant for a long time without adjusting tension on the cam chain. So we did, and also adjusted the valves. Finally we borrowed a carbuerator syncing set and went to work on that.
Then last saturday we rolled it on out the door for the test flight! I put a few oz of sea foam engine cleaner in the oil and gas tank, then took it out to fill it up with gas. It sputtered a little in the few miles of riding, but I think it will straighten out with some riding.
A few more pics to follow soon. Got a tail light from noschoolchoppers.com. and I still need to figure out a proper mirror...
