Does anyone have or know where I could find the lock for a 78' CB750K? I've been looking everywhere and can't find the lock for the fuel door latch anywhere.

Yes! Exactly like this one. I've got the door and everything though I just need the lock insert

Is it because you don't have the key? Or are the tumblers worn? If so take it to your local lock smith they should be able to fix it for a reasonable fee, or make you a key if needed

I don't have the lock or anything. I've got the door that covers the gas cap and a hole where the lock should be

You should have no issues getting a universal tumbler assembly, figure out the diameter of the hole get the proper tumbler that matches and bolt it in

I'm not 100% sure what you mean with the tumbler assembly. Just measure the diameter of the hole in the fuel door and it'll bolt in? That simple?
