    Jun 25, 2019, 12:30:49
  • Kamn: advCo, its a Nissan radial master 19mm and spongy feeling, I cant any air bubbles out of it, so Im hoping the strapped lever trick will work
    Jun 25, 2019, 12:32:34
  • advCo: I've had good luck with that once or twice before
    Jun 25, 2019, 12:33:32
  • advCo: Ouch, just ordered floors for the bus. My wallet is dead.
    Jun 25, 2019, 13:33:06
  • Maritime: ha, VW parts are spensive sometimes
    Jun 25, 2019, 13:48:37
  • advCo: Oh yeah, big floors too shipping was $160 alone
    Jun 25, 2019, 13:51:58
  • advCo: Still need to order brakes and steering parts to get it back up on 4 wheels but should be good on parts for a while after that. Restoring cars is expensive
    Jun 25, 2019, 13:55:28
  • Maritime: It bloody isd
    Jun 25, 2019, 15:12:20

    Jun 26, 2019, 11:13:43
  • Maritime: 3 of last years days were used to fix broken down cars
    Jun 26, 2019, 11:14:05
  • advCo: Yeah. I'm looking forward to it actually lol. Its tough to get much done with only 3-4 hours after work
    Jun 26, 2019, 11:21:22
  • advCo: Looking to get a lot of the metal work knocked out and then tile at least one bathroom
    Jun 26, 2019, 11:21:54
  • advCo: And I need to roll on some deck-over stuff to clean up the back porch.
    Jun 26, 2019, 11:26:44
  • Maritime: Good luck, hope you get it all done
    Jun 26, 2019, 11:59:36
  • advCo: me too LOL
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:08:30
  • advCo: I finally got the petcock figured out on Kaylas bike. It wouldn't shut off no matter what position even with a new seal. Turns out I have either the wrong lever or something on there. I had to take the face plate off and flip it upside down and backwards to allow it to shut off lol. Had to hand scratch "on off res" on it
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:15:03
  • Maritime: LOL at least you got it sorted.
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:37:19
  • Maritime: Man I am trying to find a PDF of the test procedures for Magoo to practice for his test. The internet is blank. I know my book had it, told you 2 circles inside X spaced cones, slalom x2 how many turns and signals etc
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:38:44
  • Maritime: The new manual just says you have to pass a skills test. How the fuck do you practice if they don't tell you what you'll need to do
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:39:41
  • advCo: Yeah thats dumb
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:39:58
  • advCo: We had to do circles both directions, then figure 8's both directions without putting a foot down
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:40:11
  • Maritime: Yeah, same here, it was slalom both ways, 2x right circle, 2x Left circle. 2 x figure 8 then turns with signals left and right But I want to know the diameter as there are different sizes of circle and slalom
    Jun 26, 2019, 12:46:51
  • advCo: when is the test?
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:09:46
  • Maritime: Not booked yet. He just passed written and needs to practice a bit before the riding test.
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:13:37
  • Maritime: I asked a buddy here at work who's son just got his last year and he told me which lines to put cones on so I think we are good
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:14:23
  • advCo: Nice
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:22:52
  • advCo: Man if he grew up riding bikes, hell be fine. The first time I got on a motorcycle it felt natural
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:49:43
  • Maritime: He's already doing the figure 8's fine we need to try the slalom tonight with pylons
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:54:01
  • advCo: Can he ride on the street after taking the written test? I think we could ride for a year on the permit after doing written, just no passengers and only from dawn to dusk
    Jun 26, 2019, 13:58:33
  • Maritime: No, has to pass riding test officially but we live 3 KM from the test lot and so I will let him ride to and from there and I'll follow him
    Jun 26, 2019, 14:01:42
  • Tim: In Ontario, you write your M1 in 15 minutes and whammo, you can ride your Harley home.  Kinda scary.

  • advCo: neat little hack there
    Jun 26, 2019, 14:27:03
  • Luugo86: I know this is a dumb question, but in the clymer manual for cb350.. when it references the "left cylinder
    Jun 26, 2019, 20:22:36
  • Luugo86: for valve adjustment.. is it the left as u sit on the bike, or the left as u look at the bike head on?
    Jun 26, 2019, 20:22:54
  • teazer: Always as you sit on the bike.
    Jun 26, 2019, 20:39:13
  • Luugo86: Thanks Teazer.. I knew that but for some reason was second guessing myself... been a couple years since Ive had a scoot
