Nice! I have a MS660 of the same generation. Great saw. Are you planning on cutting slabs?

Nah not planning on slab cutting, it just happened to have the long bar on it. It's gonna get a 25" or so like the Ms440 magnum it's replacing. But it does make short work of palmetto bushes without having to get in close. I dare say it's easier to start than the little husqvarna 51 next to it too.

This stement is only true if you live in USA everywhere else thise bikes are 750 cc

A deal from a guy I know that I couldn't pass up. 1970 CB750 140$

Anybody ever seen a top tree like that? It's got an interesting 4-2 exhaust on it, the one side has the longest muffler I've ever seen.

Digging the patina on that tank, nice grab!

Is the exhaust structural?
Like wheelbarrow handles?!

Worth the $$ though

Thanks to Captmilk76, I now have another pile of what was once a motorcycle in the garage. Should be a fun little resto job.

I picked up a pair of hayabusa mufflers to retro fit onto the dr650. It's a pretty common mod to get rid of the choked up and heavy stock can. Also picked up some s.s. Tubing and a 1.5" to 2" s.s. Reducer to fab up a mid pipe, since paying $200 for a pre made one ain't my style. Planning on selling one of the cans as well (in case anyone here is in the market)

Picked up a Granberg style chainsaw mill

As well as 24" bar with chisel chain, a ripping chain, and for the smaller saw I have an 18" (not shown) and chain

If all goes well and I have bigger trees that I could mill, I will be looking at getting a bigger Stihl saw, like an 066 or MS660 (one and the same)

Does that run on a ladder, or do you make up a frame? I have several large walnut trees that need to go and I would like to mill all the better logs

You can run it on a ladder or any kind of rails that you can make up to sit level on the fallen tree. Ive seen guys do it with 2x6's
And Granberg sells a nice rail kit but out of my budget for now

And walnut would be nice to have for a few slabs
