CB360 sparck moto regulator rectifier
« on: Sep 16, 2015, 09:32:04 »
Hi
I'm going to build a battery tray under my brat style seat for my cb360 build. I will run the sparck moto reg/rec unit, now can I put this in the enclosed battery tray or will the unit get to hot with no air flow? Should I mount in direct airflow to keep it cool or provide some ventilation and house in my battery tray?
Thanks

I'll be monitoring this thread as I have the same idea for my build.

Yes, you should mount the reg/rec where air flow can cool it if possible. You don't HAVE to, but you should.

I built my electronics box with perforated sheet metal for added air flow

I do the same as Tune with my units. They go on the underside of the tray.
