New member in Fort Worth

Hello from Texas! I just did my Basic Rider's Course last week (first time riding. Ever! Haha) and got my first bike. Got a 1982 CB650sc Nighthawk with 24,xxx miles. Going to ride it a bit and get comfortable on it, then going to do an 80's inspired naked super bike/muscle bike inspired build. Looking forward to being a part of this vibrant community! Welcome aboard from Dallas, that's a killer bike you've got there. Should live up to the 80's muscle bike bit quite well with not too much work. Good idea getting comfortable on it first, lots of guys just tear in with no experience and lose that base-line perspective. Good luck!

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys! I'm going to take it by a shop today (they do a 53 point inspection for 40 bucks and have very high reviews) and maybe they can help me narrow down what's causing the bike to bog down around 3000-4000 rpm. And maybe tell me if my horn issue is a busted horn, wiring, or switch. Figured why not for 40 bucks.
