My CB400f Supersport project

That's a great color choice, has a dramatic change with different light. I actually went with nardo grey for my frame. Had a hard time deciding between that, nimbus, or suzuka.

I think so too! I was wondering if a very short rear fender with the tail light mounted on it would look good on her.

very nice, 400F is one of my favorite old Hondas, I want to do one some day soon and yours would be very close to what I would/will do.

Cheers

A good night.. finally got more of the loom swapped to gold bullet connectors, decided to gently solder each one to secure them and taken lots of weight out the loom.

I also fitted my modified rear fender... I think it works..! Tonight I have some lights to try and mock in under the seat.. will post pics tomorrow!

For now .. please ignore my poor skills but my web designers are busy so i've used paint shop but think she will look great in this scheme... even if my paint skills are terrible..!

Progress has been made on the rear light as well.. I hated the twin set up and cheap rear lights so I've modifed a Triumph 675 rear light and it fits perfect.

The gap is really small but she fits perfect... I'll get some pics, just need to seal the last two gaps.

Ok installed last night... Bike is not with me as its at my mates being tuned so desperate to get the seat on...

Looks ok I think.. I'm not sure what else I could have done even if I'd designed from scratch! Ended up bonding it in rather than some elaborate screw and bracket.. ended up a tidy job!

Also busted are the Belgian Biscuits.. that helped me through the install at 1am lol!

No the best images but will get some more once seat back on!

Cheers yes .. it should just hide underneath once its married up to the rear mudguard! Or I'll hate it and have to start again!

Its alive and running.. took for its first run today!! Its been such a long journey.. and other projects in the way and hobbies but felt great to hear that Delkevic at 9k.. I'm so pleased with how it turned out.. still a few jobs but mechanically she seems good.. all electrics work and engine feels smooth so time to get a few miles on her. Forgot how much the 400/4 needs to be revved to get to work but once over 6k she flies along nicely!

Tank will be off tonight and rear guard ready for paint!!!

Very nice, I like it. I think the stock 400F is one of the nicest looking Hondas and most modified ones don't look right, to my eye. Yours is a nice exception, can't wait to see the new paint.
