It's a CM400E apparently, though I see none of the markings I expected to. Anyway, some pictures and my total-noobie perspective ;)

Unknown dent in the pipe, you can see some rusts at joints as well.

There seemed to be gas/smoke coming out from somewhere along where those two parts of the exhaust meet, or possibly somewhere else very close to there. What up wit' that? lol

Tires seemed to still have good tread, I think I would wanna paint those rusty spindles if not get entirely new rims or something

dust aside she's not that bad looking

I talked to the owner about getting it saftied, she said it was saftied in september but isn't now because those certifications expire after a time period. It has only 14,000 km, she's had lots of work done on it. Should be able to get it saftied for $70ish, agreed that if I bought she could get it certified and I would pay upon it being saftied. We didn't talk much about a price yet. She had another guy there. He came a few minutes after I did, left after about 5 minutes while I stuck around...

Linked the pics for ya.

Well for me, 3 things come to mind...How much is she asking?? and have you heard it run?...check the inside of the fuel tank for rust.
The rubber looks fairly new though.

The mufflers look identical to the ones on my KZ (mine even have a similar dent ;D). Just wondering if they are original or if the Japanese companies bought from these kind of things from the same source?

Me? I'd pass. There aren't really that many goodies available that'll fit that bike, so you'll be in for a lot of fab to make it what you want. If thats cool with you, than go for it. But the CB's are alot easier to deal with.

$1,500 OBO.

Gas looked good from what I checked, asked her to open it, just saw clean plastic, is that what i was looking for, or was the metal tank cover supposed to be removed? lol
I really am a noobie but the bike sounded fine, it started up no-problem. There was some gas escaping from the joint of the exhaust, as if it wasn't properly sealed or wasn't pushed in enough :s

I think $1500 is WAY too much for what it is.

For $1500 it should be warm dry and rust free. It's cold, wet and covered in rust. $300 maybe.

Yep. And it's kinda dowdy looking.

Buy it cheap and make it look cool.
