Yesterday I finally got to put the bike to the test. I had been riding back and forth to work on my short commute but hadn't gotten it out to stretch the legs yet... The person that peaked my interest in these bike is always down for a ride so I tossed out a destination and we were off! I had recently put a good amount of maintenance into the bike along with a makeover on the color so it was nice to go out and enjoy my work! I have been to Yosemite many times in a car but there is something different about seeing these giant rock mountains on a bike that is more humbling than before. Pretty cool that I get to go visit all my favorite places again and it's a completely new adventure.
What my bike looked like when I picked it up.
What it looks like now...I'm still trying to figure out the seat and what to do.
Thats gotta be a beautiful site on a bike.......the rides looking good
As for the seat, what if you just cut down the rear upper section a bit so its not so high and reupholster it? Then it wont look so "king/queen" like but still maintain a stock-ish look

my thought was not doing it level but just removing some of the height.....it would change the look if the seat entirely and still give you a 2up option.
But good luck with what ever it is you are going to do with the seat
