Cheap CM400A

I got this in the fall and wanted to clean it up without spending any money on it, so I trimmed up stock parts where I could.
Chopped the seat to fit a CB cover, added Sportster mufflers and adapted a Hawk headlight.
Now that it's warm I'm getting to the service chores. It does run and ride nice.

I needed something to keep me busy over the winter, and this was available.
I can't see overinvesting in a Hondamatic, since I like my gears.

Do you plan on doing any mods to it?

Other than the bobbed fenders and flat seat. Just interested to see what you end up doing to a Hondamatic (since this is in the Trackers sub-forum). Different tires, handlebar, hand guards?

I did add euro bars with Renthal grips.
The original headlight rim tabs were rusted away/ zip-tie repaired Ichiban style. Couldn't see at night with the old sealed beam jiggling around so I got a composite from a VT500.
At this point I could get my money out of it and maybe buy a 500/4, so I'm playing it by ear.
