The Workshop & Deck

Nice work on the logo. That swamp bike is funny. I think if I get there it would be fly and rent a bike for sure. I am hoping to actually do that in a few years when my son is old enough to ride as well so we can explore a bit.

Thanks for all the support guy's ;) Spare time is at a premium at the moment with 6 day work weeks  Still I managed to get some more done on my Indian ;D Plenty more to do but he's looking good.

Beautiful work! I'm extremely jealous! I have to do all my work in borrowed spaces. If its a multi-day job I have to start on a Friday, pull my work truck off the dock and drop the ramp, ride the bike into the truck, tuck the ramp away, back the truck to the dock and ride into my warehouse, lay down massive amounts of cardboard and get to her!
Not a easy task in the AV industry. But even though your a installer, you know how a AV techs schedule can be for shows I'm sure.

Love your space!

One tech question though, You aren't just using that dinky little monitor for your computer right? I hope you have a secondary output to extend your desktop to your HDTV :)
My living room has a 22" monitor on a Mounted arm next to my couch and my 42" Plasma is my secondary monitor to watch all my (il)legal downloads.

cheers mate :) yeah I've got a splitter feeding both displays, but I plan on loosing the small monitor all together ;)

Well I managed to get a little done on the new veranda today ;D , half of the main frame is in and I'm hoping to complete the other half tomorrow

Just for laughs, My dog thinks he's as tough as Arnie with his stogie (chew stick)

Well I have actually made progress on this, just been super busy at work :'( ;D

finished the framework then picked up some Tin for it  (even gave it a racing stripe ;D )
Went a little overboard with the roofing screws, but it will never fly away ;)
I'm taking time off for the first 2 weeks of Aug so I hope to finish the main deck area then ::)

Still need to add the gutter and do the reflected deck under it but it keeps the dog dry ;D

Lookin' good Andy, too many roofing screws can't be a bad thing!

After 4 months of trying to get something done with my shed I have a hole in the ground still waiting for formwork to get the concreting done... can't catch a break this year between weather and free time. Looking like taking a week off will be needed to get some momentum...

cheers mate, yeah I fell like things have stalled so my Sister coming down from Sydney seemed like a good catalyst for time off and some re-motivation :D

Castle moment "I have a hole in the ground, its filling with water" ;D
