1977 GL1000 Double Deuce Hell Ride

Not really. Each coat with a blade fills the low spots. Plus rasps, files and rifflers to take off the high spots and to carve it into shape. We are creating the form to take a mold of.

The master is done. Ready for casting...

All asymmetrical and shit... with a 3.25" BMW light. You gots a bezel, I'm interested. I'm also looking for Renthals or Easton Pro Tapers for this thing. So, if you happen to know a guy... ;)

I'm a ceramicist, so I have lots'a clay and #1 Pottery plaster on hand. They work well enough and plaster at under $ .50/lb is cheap. Paint a few coats of Murphy's oil soap over the master and polish with your finger between coats.

Mix, splash coat, setup to a Greek yogurt consistency, and spread over the splash coat. Easy peazy.

Honey Wax... My father used that stuff years ago on his molds... I can smell it now. Looking good... Fast way to do this... I like this method

Lights mounted in the fairing. The same mounting points will be utilized for the frame mounts and a number plate on the front.

Close. It's from a BMW. It was a wrecked car, so the plastic casing is wore down in places and the nearest corner in the pic is broken off, but it's structurally all there. Maybe I eventually replace it with one in better shape.

Corbin King and Queen seat becoming a tracker seat. There's still a bit to shave off the sitting part, but the shape is there....
