1980 cb125 carb settings

I've got a 1980 cb125s 984 orig miles. I have cleaned and rebuilt carb and reconditioned tank which had rust. I think previous owner messed with settings when rust was in tank. and can't get any good info on preliminary carb settings. I've seen a couple of post on Google but nothing close to even keeping the bike running. The best I've done is pilot screw 3 1/2 turns out fuel mixture screw 4 turns out . It will run but has a miss at higher rpms but idles pretty decent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Well no response but none needed. 1 1/2 pilot 2 fuel mixture runs great thanks anyway.
